The Seattle Times and other corrupt media advertised Washington State’s 2004 Superintendent of Public Instruction campaign as a contest between “three strong women,” virtually ignoring the three men who filed as candidates. would be the hottest race in town even if no good candidates were running. After all, it features three of the state’s biggest teachers union whores. Juanita Doyon really isn’t that interesting, aside from the fact she’s as dumb as George W. Bush. Judith Billings is an even better symbol of the National Education Association — she has AIDS. Yet the worst of the bunch may be Terry Bergeson.
Bergeson blew in from Massachusetts, by way of Alaska, to become president of the Washington Education Association, one of America’s most corrupt teachers unions. Though widely reviled among conservatives as a liberal agent of “social engineering” (perhaps in part because of her association with Shirley McCune, who earned some notoriety as an author of a book about spirit beings), her first political campaign (1992) was bankrolled by one of Seattle’s arch conservatives, a sinister multi-millionaire named Don Nielsen.

Then there’s Bergeson’s Campaign Treasurer-for-Life, Judith Lonnquist. She may be one of the state’s sleaziest attorneys. Ironically, Lonnquist defended (or pretended to defend) one of Bergeson’s opponents, KumRoon Maksirisombat in one of the most sensational lawsuits in Seattle School District history.
Queen of the Internet
I lied when I said Juanita Doyon isn’t interesting. Though she doesn’t have a clue about education, she has an almost unbelievable ability to promote herself on the Internet. Judging by Google, she’s the most popular thing since cream cheese. Her popularity really is hard to believe when you take a look at her website or talk to her in person. What I mean is, it’s too good to be true...if you know what I mean.
In yet another irony sprouting from this extraordinary race, Doyon was one of my most ambitious supporters when I ran for Superintendent of Public Instruction in 2000. So why did I turn against her? Because she betrayed the children.
Judith Billings
Judith Billings is similar to Terry Bergeson in that she’s a teachers union whore who did remarkably little to distinguish herself while in office. She’s best known for blowing a pile of tax dollars on an expensive table and contracting AIDS.
Billings said she was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS after she was artificially inseminated with infected donor sperm in the early 1980s. Curiously, she apparently didn’t sue. Very curious.
Another curious thing is the timing of the announcement of Billing’s possible return to the political arena. It was published in the Seattle Times (the newspaper that endorsed George W. Bush in 2000) on July 8, just a few days after I (David Blomstrom) sent out my provocative Death4Bush press release.
And it gets even better: The Seattle Times said Billings would be the third candidate in the race, when there are already five candidates! That has to be the most monumentally brazen lie I’ve ever seen in the Seattle Times, or any other Seattle newspaper for that matter.
A conspiracy theorist might speculate that the Seattle Chamber of Commerce planned on promoting this Superintendent of Public Instruction campaign as Bergeson versus Doyon, until Bergeson’s Campaign Treasurer’s former client, KumRoon Maksirisombat, stepped in the ring, turning up the heat considerably. And when I dropped my Death4Bush bombshell, Seattle’s corporate pimps decided this race was getting too hot to handle. So they decided to promote the race as Bergeson versus Billings.
But who listens to those kooky conspiracy theorists? It’s probably just a coincidence that the AIDS candidate decided to enter the race late in the game and just three days after my Death4Bush announcement. And the folks at the Seattle Times simply forgot all three male candidates in this race when they announced Billings’ interest in the campaign.
